Launches New Website Platform; On-Demand Services Suite

PITTSBURGH – November 1, 2016 – Ron Lewis Automotive Group today announced that customers can now purchase a vehicle through without ever visiting the dealership.  In addition to vehicle delivery to a customer’s home, office, or location of choice, the Pittsburgh-based dealership group now also offers customers a suite of “On-Demand” services including:  On-Demand Test Drives, Vehicle Trade Valuations, and Roadside Assistance.  

Online Vehicle Purchase and Delivery

  The “Buy Online” button on the Ron Lewis Automotive Group’s vehicle listings allows a customer to choose a new or pre-owned vehicle from over 1,500 in inventory, design their financing, choose additional warranty coverage and features, then submit the order, with delivery location preference specified.  “We are bringing the dealership to you, and allowing you to shop on your terms, by putting the information you need at your fingertips – even if that’s on your couch, or at your office, or at 2am,” said Gwen Lewis, Founding Director of Online Operations.   The optional off-site vehicle delivery service is offered at no additional charge, within a 100 miles radius of the Ron Lewis Automotive Group headquarters, and is immediately available.  Ron Lewis Automotive Group is the first car dealer in Pittsburgh to offer this purchasing system to customers.  “During our first few months of offering the Buy Online system, we’ve had over a dozen customers choose the option, and even had a customer hit the button from a hospital room,” said Lewis.

On-Demand Services

A suite of on-demand services called Ron Lewis Automotive “RLA On-Demand” is also now available, including:

  1. On-Demand Test Drive – Request a no-obligation vehicle test drive with one of our professional sales team members at your location of choice.  
  2. On-Demand Trade Valuation – Request an on-site appraisal of your vehicle, at your location of choice.  
  3. On-Demand Roadside Assistance – Place a request for immediate help with batteries, tires, fuel, tow needs and lock-out situations.   

RLA On-Demand Test Drive and Trade Valuation services are offered within a 10 mile radius of each Ron Lewis dealership and can be scheduled online or over the phone with the dealership’s Sales Department.   The newly designed and device responsive site at also provides access to dealership reviews, recall checks, and the ability to chat/text with members of the sales and service teams.  “We look forward to hearing our customers’ feedback on our new offerings,” said Gwen Lewis.  “We’re always looking at ways to make the vehicle shopping process easier, more convenient, more fun, and one that you’ll want to tell your friends and family about.”
